Brigitte is an AI, geopolitical, and misinformation researcher who focuses on understanding artificial intelligence and developing adaptive policy in response to emerging technology. She is currently a Senior Research Coordinator at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, where she works on policy, interpretability, and agentic AI.
Prior to joining the Berkman Klein Center team, she worked at ActiveFence, a trust and safety start-up, where she led open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering and influencer mapping efforts to identify emerging geopolitical misinformation trends proliferating online. Brigitte managed teams monitoring elections in Europe, the United States, and the APAC region.
Brigitte was previously a Yale Fox Fellow at Tel Aviv University, where she researched Sino-Israeli relations and the impact of the Digital Silk Road on the region and received an M.A. in Security and Diplomacy. Brigitte received her B.A. in History from Yale University with a focus on 20th-century European military history.
Brigitte will explain why everyone is talking about AI and the impact it already has on society. She will also talk about what the future could hold and the risks and opportunities of this new technology.
